Cone Beam CT (CBCT)

3D imaging that shows what a flat X-ray can't.

Some decisions need more than a two-dimensional X-ray. A cone beam CT scan creates a detailed 3D picture of your teeth, jaw, and airway to guide precise, informed treatment.

CBCT captures a three-dimensional view in a single quick scan, which is especially useful for planning implants, evaluating whether root canals have reinfections, and assessing the sinuses and other pathology. The added clarity means treatment can be planned around exactly what's there, with fewer surprises along the way.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Can I send over a CBCT that was taken elsewhere?

Sure. CBCT files are very large, so they usually need to be burned onto a disc or put on a thumb drive. We welcome outside scans, but we can't guarantee our software will open your specific file. If we can't open it, we'll need to take our own in-office.
